In my short film, the world forgetting by the world forgot (2010), I attempt to speak on current global movements and the morphing ideas of culture, through an auto-ethnographic approach with a simple story of a friendship and the path of a Japanese grandmother's kimono. The super 8 film aesthetic perfectly lends itself as a further comment on time and generational ties.
